Grey squirrels are, sadly, now becoming an issue within Dumfries and Galloway. Increasing they are pushing out our native reds – both by out competing them, and also due to diseases they carry such as squirrel pox which they are immune to, but which sadly reds are not.

Dead Cert Pest Control have been trusted by one of the larger estates in the region to carry out selective trapping programs over recent years to cull the greys to not only help the native reds but also in an attempt to limit their damage to valuable forestry.
